Jacob Murray of Nasua is facing a felony charge after reportedly striking a bicyclist with a vehicle at Shaw's and leaving the scene.

NASHUA, NH — Police have arrested a Nashua man who reportedly struck a bicyclist with a vehicle in the Shaw's parking lot and left the scene. Jacob Murray, 23, of Nashua, was arrested Thursday evening after police got a warrant for his arrest on the felony conduct after an accident charge. Police say that on March 12, he struck a bicyclist in the Shaw's parking lot on Main Street and then drove off without reporting the incident to police or exchanging information with the bicyclist.
The bicyclist suffered injuries that are not life-threatening, according to police. Police say that Murray was arrested around 4:30 p.m. Thursday without incident, and he is now facing a Class B felony, which carries a maximum possible sentence of seven years in prison not including fines. He was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear for arraignment in Hillsborough County Superior Court on May 29.
