POP Unit Sweep Nets 7 Drug Arrests
Seven drug arrests by the POP Unit following a two month police investigation.
Nashua Police Department Uniform Operations Bureau and Problem Oriented Policing (POP) Unit arrested several people in an arrest sweep after separate investigations over the past two months identified them as allegedly being involved in the sale and possession of narcotic drugs.
The investigations were conducted by detectives of the Narcotics Intelligence Division. Arrested were:
Guy Gray, 59, of No Fixed Address, for three counts of unlawful sale of a narcotic drug, cocaine, felony. Gray was held on $75,000 cash bail and was arraigned at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Court on July 17th, 2013.
Leon Smith, 33, of 29 Temple Street, Apartment 108, Nashua, New Hampshire, for two counts of unlawful sale of a narcotic drug, crack cocaine, second offense, felony and one count possession of a narcotic drug, crack cocaine, felony. Smith has been previously convicted of a drug offense and will face enhanced felony penalties. Smith was held on $50,000 cash or surety bail and was arraigned at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Court on July 25th, 2013.

Christopher Felix, 25, of 1 Salvail Court, Apartment #2, Nashua, New Hampshire, for two counts of unlawful sale of a narcotic drug, crack cocaine, felony. Felix was held on $50,000 cash bail and was arraigned at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Court on July 26th, 2013.
Leonardo Rosario, 38, of 44 Chestnut Street, Apartment #2, Nashua, New Hampshire, for three counts of unlawful sale of a narcotic drug, crack cocaine, second offense, felony. Rosario has been previously convicted of a drug offense and will face enhanced felony penalties. Rosario was held on $75,000 cash bail and was arraigned at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Court on July 29th, 2013.

John Herczeg, 43, of 412 Abbott Farm Drive, Hudson, New Hampshire, for one count of criminal liability for the conduct of another to unlawful sale of a narcotic drug, heroin, felony. Herczeg was held on $10,000 cash or surety bail and was arraigned at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Court on July 29th, 2013.
Marc Aucoin, 23, of 12 Heon Court, Nashua, New Hampshire, for one count of unlawful sale of a narcotic drug, cocaine, second offense/school zone, felony, one count of possession of a narcotic drug, cocaine, felony, and one count of manufacturing a controlled drug, marijuana, felony. Aucoin has been previously convicted of a drug offense while selling in a school zone and will face enhanced felony penalties. Aucoin was held on $75,000 cash bail and was arraigned at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Court on July 26th, 2013.
Sean Smith, 26, of 121B Derry Road, Hudson, New Hampshire, for three counts of unlawful sale of a narcotic drug, heroin, second offense. Smith has been previously convicted of a drug offense and will face enhanced felony penalties. Smith was held on $50,000 cash bail and will arraigned at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Court on July 30th, 2013.
