Public Meeting in Nashua on Draft NH Energy Strategy

The meeting is at Nashua Community College to ensure that the state's energy policy supports the state's "economic, environmental, and public health goals."

The state is holding a public meeting on the Draft State Energy Strategy on June 25 at Nashua Community College at 505 Amherst St. in Nashua.

The meeting begins at 6 p.m.

Senate Bill 191 of 2013 required the Office of Energy and Planning, in consultation with the State Energy Advisory Council, to develop a strategy "to ensure that the state's energy policies and programs support the state’s economic, environmental, and public health goals."

Members of the public can show up, but the state is asking people to register in advance to help with logistics. To register, email OEPInfo@nh.gov with the subject "Energy Strategy Registration."

The Draft State Energy Strategy is available at http://www.nh.gov/oep/energy/programs/SB191.htm
