Recounts in Wards 3 & 4 Set for Nov. 18

A special Board of Aldermen meeting will be held Nov. 18 (Monday) at 6:30 p.m. in City Hall to conduct recounts requested following the Nov. 5 municipal election, according to City Clerk Paul Bergeron.

Ward 3 candidate Paul Shea, who lost to David Schoneman by an official count of 495-501, and Ward 4 Alderman Art Craffey, who lost to Pam Brown by 16 votes, 173 to 189, have both filed the paperwork required for recounts.

Also being settled Nov. 18: Write-in ballots in Wards 7 and 8 that have resulted in several ties for election officials. You can read more on that here.
