Results of Nashua 2013 Elections by the Numbers

Lottery-style drawing will determine the write-in election winners in Wards 7 and 8.

Nashua City Clerk Paul Bergeron has released the results of the Nov. 5, 2013 municipal election, including write-ins that have resulted in ties.

Of the city's 50,717 registered voters, 8,177 turned out for this year's election. An additional 212 voters registered at the polls, resulting in a 16.1 percent voter turnout – slightly higher than the 14 percent turnout Bergeron predicted.

There were 12 races for Ward Election Officials for which no candidates appeared on the ballot; three of those races resulted in tie votes. According to section 23 of the city charter, the outcome will be determined by a drawing, which will be held Nov. 18.
