Sidewalk Project Update: Last of the Planting Beds Going In
Your weekly update on the sidewalk project, via the City of Nashua's website.

Here's what's new with the downtown project, updated weekly at gonashua.com:
During the week of October 7:
The traffic box near Sen. Kelly Ayotte’s office (the corner of Main and Temple streets) was moved to Temple Street. On the east side of Block 2, the brick work continued, a granite planter and tree well were installed and the parking spaces were finish paved. The wiring for the installation of the street lights on the east side of Block 2 was prepared. The crew trenched across Factory Street to connect the conduit from Block 2 to Block 3 on the west side.
Week of Oct. 14:
The crew plans to finish running the conduit across Factory Street, and pour three pads and the tip down on the East side of Block 2. This will leave one small pad on Temple Street that will need to be poured as soon as the meter pit for the irrigation is installed. The brick work will continue and the street lights will be installed on the East side of Block 2. The last two planting beds will be planted. Schedule is tentative and subject to change due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
