The Soon-To-Open Nashua Center For The Arts Announces First Shows
Opening in April, the venue's early shows include Suzanne Vega, Grace Kelly, a Billy Joel tribute, Safe Haven Ballet, and Symphony NH.

NASHUA, NH — The Nashua Center for the Arts, which is scheduled to open in the spring, has announced eight shows that will take place at the new venue between April and July 2023.
Among the highlights are performances by singer/songwriter Suzanne Vega (April 15) and jazz-saxophonist Grace Kelly (June 17), tribute concerts featuring the music of artists Billy Joel (June 8) and Rush (May 19), Safe Haven Ballet's production of "Beauty and the Beast" (April 22), and Symphony NH's 100-year Anniversary Concert (April 29).
There also will be a "Nashua Celebrates the Arts" grand opening celebration on April 1.

Tickets to the performances go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday on the Nashua Center for the Arts website. A presale currently is open for people with a Spectacle Live Membership. Spectacle Live will manage and operate the venue, which is located at 201 Main St.
The Nashua Center for the Arts will feature flexible seating configurations that allow the venue to have different seating capacities —between 300 and 1,000 seats — depending on the event.

"After the years of hard work and dedication that has gone into the Nashua Center for the Arts, we are excited to finally share it with the public," said Pete Lally, president of Spectacle Live.
Lally continued: "The design and uniqueness of the building will allow for us to showcase a diverse array of shows. This is only the beginning and we look forward to announcing the exciting things we have planned for the Nashua Center for the Arts."
Nashua Mayor Jim Donchess said the announcement of the first shows at the new downtown theater was a special moment for Nashua.
"We are proud to announce the first shows to be presented at the Nashua Center for the Arts," Dochess said. "This is the culmination of years of tireless efforts from civic leaders and volunteers, who have worked together to make this dream of the Nashua Center for the Arts into a reality.
"The Nashua Center for the Arts will be a new additional venue for the arts in Nashua, and it will serve as an economic engine for the city by supporting local shops and restaurants in a modern, vibrant downtown."
Representatives for the Nashua Center for the Arts said additional events will be announced on December 6.
