Two Arrested in Arlington Street Grocery Burglary

Edward Salie, a registered sex offender, was also charged for failing to inform police of a change in domicile.

On September 15, 2013, Nashua Police Patrol Officers were dispatched to an activated alarm at El Nazareno Deli and Grocery store at 25 Arlington Street, Nashua. Responding officers discovered that the business had been burglarized, which was later confirmed by the store owners. Detectives assigned to the Nashua Police Department’s Burglary Unit furthered the investigation, which resulted in two arrests being made in connection with the burglary.

On September 20, 2013 at approximately 1:15 p.m., Detectives arrested Edward C. Salie, 22, no fixed address, who is also a registered sex offender in NH. Salie is charged with burglary, a class B felony and duty to inform, class A felony. On September 25, 2013, Detectives arrested Thomas Randall, 18, of 36 Gillis St., Nashua. Randall is charged with burglary, class B felony.

Arrest warrants were obtained for both Salie and Randall, charging them for the burglary at El Nazareno Deli and Grocery. Randall was arrested at Valley Street Jail, where he was being held on unrelated criminal charges. Salie was also arrested without incident and additionally charged with duty to inform for failing to notify police of a change in his residency within the required five days, after being certified as a sexual offender in the State of New Hampshire.

Both are being held on cash bails pending future court appearances.
