Two Charged in Tolles Street Burglary, Assault

Police say the victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Nashua Police have arrested the second suspect they say was involved in a Sept. 16 burglary and assault at a Tolles Street residence.

On Sept. 30 Korey Brown, 19, of 3 B Oak Street, Nashua, turned himself in at police headquarters on an outstanding warrant charging him with robbery, a  class A felony; and burglary, a class A felony. 

Police said on Sept. 16, 2013, at approximately 12 p.m., a resident of Tolles Street reported that two men had entered his residence, demanding property. The victim was assaulted by both males, one of which was armed with an extended taser. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and released. He suffered lacerations and contusions to the head. The injuries were non-life threatening.

The two men allegedly involved were identified as Michael McCarthy, age 18, of 39 Anvil Drive, Nashua and Brown. McCarthy was arrested and charged with robbery,  a class A felony, and burglary,  a class A felony, on Sept. 16. reported incident. 

McCarthy was held at Hillsborough County House of Correction on $25,000 cash/surety bail and Brown was scheduled for arraignment in the 9th Circuit Court, Nashua Division on October 1, 2013. Brown is being held on $15,000. cash/surety bail.
