Unexpected Snow Sends Cars Slipping and Sliding

Lots of havoc with a flash snow event that left a slippery coating on roadways from Merrimack north.

State Police are reporting cars sliding off slick roadways, including the Everett Turnpike and I-93.

A flash snow event left roadways slippery, with many motorists reporting black ice conditions.

As of 9 p.m. Nashua Police said they had no sign of snow in the city, except for a few flakes, and that most of the trouble spots were further north.

Several Nashua Patch readers reported bad road conditions via our Nashua Patch Facebook page in Merrimack, Bedford, and Hudson.

Motorists are reminded to slow down whenever there is precipitation, especially as the temperatures dip below freezing.

If you see an accident or know of a road closure, help your neighbors out by posting it here  in the comments field and also on our Facebook feed.
