Looking for a summer experience that combines fun, learning, and hands-on exploration? Nashua Community College (NCC) offers a diverse lineup of summer camps designed for middle and high school students. These camps provide a unique opportunity to explore various fields, develop new skills, and ignite passions that could shape future careers.
Camp Highlights:
- Automotive – General Vehicle Maintenance and Information: Gain practical knowledge in vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and understanding warning lights. This camp is ideal for those interested in hands-on mechanical work.
- Tabletop Role-Playing-Games (RPG): Practice storytelling skills, learn world-building, and character development, and engage in immersive campaigns.
- Introduction to Arduino: Dive into the world of programming by learning to code and see your instructions come to life on a circuit board with lights and switches.
- Aviation: Explore the vast field of aviation, learning about various careers and the science behind flight.
- Introduction to Digital Electronics: Get hands-on experience using actual electronic components to build a functioning digital circuit on a solderless breadboard.
- Early Childhood Education (Free 3-Day Camp): Learn about child development and the rewarding field of early childhood education.
Each camp runs Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and is priced at $295, with the exception of the free Early Childhood Education camp from July 22–24. These camps are open to rising 6th graders through rising high school seniors.
