Veterans, Active Military In NH Get Treated To Meals Thursday

Ninety Nine Restaurants, McDonald's, and many other eateries and stores in New Hampshire are offering thanks to vets and service members.

NASHUA, NH — A number of popular restaurants are offering free offerings to veterans and active-duty military on Thursday.

The Ninety Nine Restaurants, with 13 locations in New Hampshire, including Concord, Londonderry, Nashua, Portsmouth, Salem, and Seabrook, is offering a free entrée from its Veterans Day menu with the purchase of another entrée. Simply show proof of service or a valid military ID and choose from a number of items including a southwest bowl, buffalo chicken mac and cheese, a Vermont cheddar burger, or other items.

“Here at the Ninety Nine, we look forward to having veterans and active duty military be our guests on Veterans Day and to enjoy a meal with us,” Charlie Noyes, the chain’s president, said. “We can’t begin to thank these brave men and women, including our own team members, as well as their families that support them. This is a small token of appreciation for all that they have sacrificed and accomplished.”

The offer, according to the company, was for dine-in patrons only.

McDonald’s Restaurants are also offering active-duty military and veterans a free breakfast meal on Thursday.

New England McDonald’s Restaurants are offering servicemembers a choice of a free egg McMuffin, sausage biscuit, or bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit, along with hash browns and a medium soft drink, sweet tea, or premium-roast coffee, with proof of service, according to the company.

Other Offers

The following restaurants and stores may also be offering items to veterans on Thursday:

  • Applebee's: Free meal from a select menu for veterans and active-duty members, with locations in Concord, Derry, Epping, Nashua, and Portsmouth.
  • Buffalo Wild Wings — Free side of wings for veterans, with locations in Concord and Nashua.
  • Dunkin' Donuts: A free donut for veterans.
  • Starbucks: Free 12-ounce (tall) hot coffee for veterans, active-duty members, and spouses.
  • IHOP: Free red, white, and blue pancakes during restaurant hours, with locations in Bedford, Nashua, Newington, Salem, and Seabrook.
  • 110 Grill: Free lunch entrée for active-duty members or veterans, with locations in Nashua, Portsmouth, and Stratham.
  • Outback Steakhouse: Free blooming onion and soda, with a location in Seabrook.
  • 7-Eleven: Free coffee or Big Gulp for veterans by downloading the store app.
  • Wendy's: Free small breakfast combo with military ID.
