Wanted: U.S. Marshals Searching for Fugitive

NH Fugitive of the Week: Marshals seek David S. Carey for parole violations.

The New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force is looking for David S. Carey, 40, on a warrant issued for several violations of parole from an original conviction and sentence for being a habitual offender, according to U.S. Marshals.

The Fugitive of the Week wanted post reads, "Carey has an extensive criminal history, including FIREARMS and pending narcotics violations and caution should be used."

Carey was living in Manchester at the time of the parole violations, U.S. Marshals said. Authorities say Carey may still be in the greater Manchester area.

Anyone with information to his whereabouts is asked to contact the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, or your local police. Do not attempt to apprehend a fugitive on one's one, U.S. Marshals warn.

The numbers to call: Special Deputy U.S. Marshal/Task Force Officer Dan Doherty at (603) 225-1632, or call 1-877-WANTED-2.
