When Does Trick-or-Treating Happen in Nashua?

You ask, Patch answers. Here's the scoop on Halloween 2013.

Glad you asked - Trick-or-Treating in Nashua takes place on actual Halloween,  Oct. 31, from 6-8 p.m.

But that's not all – Nashua also has a really cool Fright Night at Greeley Park each year, which is completely kid-friendly targeting kids ages 5-12, and includes hayrides, a bounce house, a maze, a caricature artist, and of course, candy. You can get the details here. The event is free  and runs from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Greeley Park, 100 Concord St., Nashua, NH

Also, for the older kid crowd – and even mom and dad – you will want to support Nashua's very own haunted attraction, New England Fearfest at Fright Kingdom, 12 Simon St., which is an indoor weekend attraction featuring several different haunts: Apocalypse Z; Bloodmare Manor, Carnival of Corpses 3D; Grim; Vampire Castle; and Monster Midway. You can read up on them here. Group tickets and discounts are available online at www.frightkingdom.com/tickets.html.

For those close to the Hollis town line, you will want to check out The Dark Crop at Lavoie Farm, 172 Nartoff Road in Hollis, a haunted corn maze (flashlights provided), Admission http://thedarkcrop.com/dates-of-operation/ is $8 and it's open 7-10 p.m. on Oct. 11-12, 18-19, 25-17 and Oct. 31, Nov. 1-2.
