Woman Arrested for Allegedly Biting a Child
Fior Pena-Bernard faces felony assault charges.

Fior Pena-Bernard, 23, of 36 Palm St., 2nd Floor, Nashua, was arrested June 20, charged with one count of second-degree assault, a class B felony, for allegedly biting a child hard enough to leave teeth marks and bruising.
Earlier, the Nashua Police Department’s Youth Services Division was notified that a child under the age of 13 had sustained what appeared to be a bite mark on his left shoulder. A subsequent investigation by detectives from the Youth Services Division determined that Pena-Bernard bit the child, who was known to her.
A class B felony is punishable by up to seven years imprisonment in State Prison, exclusive of fines. Pena-Benard is being held on $15,000 personal recognizance, pending her arraignment at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Court on July 8th, 2013.
