Woman Pulled From The Wreckage Of Fiery Car Crash In Nashua
The car's sole occupant survived the crash on the Everett Turnpike Thursday due to the quick actions of bystanders who stopped.
NASHUA, NH — Nashua Fire Rescue, New Hampshire State Police, and AMR ambulance received reports of a vehicle that had gone off the northbound side of the Everett Turnpike near mile marker 2.2 and was on fire.
While en route, responders were advised the car was fully engulfed in fire and there was a brush fire quickly spreading due to the windy conditions.
First arriving units at the scene found an injured woman had been pulled from the wreckage and away from the fire. Additional apparatus and an ambulance were dispatched to the scene.

A trauma alert was requested at a local hospital and the woman was transported with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
New Hampshire Department of Transportation and Nashua Police assisted at the scene. Traffic in the Everett turnpike's northbound and southbound lanes experienced significant delays.
