MANCHESTER, NH — A very special author was escorted by police to Barnes & Noble in Manchester for her first book signing. A crowd of people gathered outside the store, awaiting her arrival.

Elyse Beaudette, the author of the new book, is 10 years old, and recently published her first book Corgi of Justice. Elyse wrote and illustrated the book and was recently surprised by Make A Wish New Hampshire when they printed and published it for her.

Elyse, who is from Nashua, was picked up by Grace Limousine Sunday and then escorted to the Manchester Barnes & Noble by Nashua police, Manchester police, and New Hampshire State Police.

At a table set up in the bookstore’s children’s section, over one hundred people lined up with her books to have them personalized and signed.

Elyse only found out the book had been printed a few weeks ago when she presented the book at the annual Make-A-Wish New Hampshire breakfast.

The book will be available at Barnes and Noble and online retailers including Walmart.com by searching Corgi of Justice
