How did you get into the insurance industry?
Looked for an industry change where I would be able to help and educate people when moving from Southern New Jersey to New Hampshire.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
Being able to educate and help people to know all about their insurances.
What’s something you wish everyone knew about insurance?
Having the right coverage and an agent that will go to bat for them is more important than they think.
What's something you wish everyone knew about working with a local agent?
There’s an incredible depth of knowledge involved in matching you with the right life, auto, home, and business policy! As your local independent insurance agent, I am “independent” because I work with many different insurance companies, but I work for you. If your lifestyle and insurance needs mean that one company is not the best option for you, I will recommend another company. If your insurance company drops you because your roof is too old, we can find a different company before you’re even aware that there’s a problem. We also have access to insurance companies that you may never even heard of. Openly, for example, is only available through a local independent insurance agent. Basically, independent insurance agents like me aren’t looking out for the insurance company’s bottom line. I am looking out for your interests.
What factors should someone consider when exploring their insurance options?
For all insurance, Consider location, Crime rates, Weather events in the area, Proximity to a fire station, Construction type of the home, Understanding coverages are most important, then cost, Third party ratings. Understanding the replacement cost of rebuild as well as replacement of personal property. For auto insurance many people buy only on price. Speak to a local agent and learn about the options and the price differences.
What would you tell someone who’s on the fence about getting a personalized insurance policy quote?
It is free to find out. Having your coverage reviewed and update every few years in important. You will find out one of two things. You have great coverage and should stay where you are, or you should review your coverages with your local agent and have your policies updated.
What do you like most about the Salem area?
