• Londonderry Teen Indicted On 13 Counts Of Child Sexual Abuse Images And Other Charges: Court Roundup (patch.com) — Rockingham County prosecutors have indicted several people from around the region, including two Salem-connected cases that local residents will want to know about. A Salem man is accused of attempting to extort $100,000 by threatening to share intimate images, while another defendant allegedly sold meth to a confidential informant working with Salem police. The roundup also lists other felony drug, theft, stalking, and child sexual abuse image charges from nearby communities.

• New England hockey players going to the 2026 Winter Olympics & Paralympics (patriotledger.com) — A Salem native, Caroline Harvey, is headed back to the Winter Olympics this February, earning a second spot on Team USA’s women’s hockey roster at just 23. She’s one of several New England hockey standouts, including Bruins and Boston Fleet players, who will represent the region in Milano-Cortina.
• NH patents through Jan. 4 (concordmonitor.com) — A Salem inventor is among several Granite Staters awarded new federal patents this week, including one for an infusion pump assembly. The roundup highlights a wide range of innovations tied to New Hampshire companies, from smart munitions and medical devices to network security and cement production.
