Woman Survives Accident After Sign Goes Through Windshield
A tractor trailer sent a sign through the windshield of a vehicle behind it, causing "serious head lacerations" to the driver.

A Londonderry woman survived an accident on Interstate 93 south in Salem Monday that involved a construction sign smashing through her windshield, according to the Eagle Tribune.
According to the report, the woman was behind a tractor trailer truck in the high speed lane when the truck passed a sign laying in the shoulder of the road. The truck picked up the sign, sending it through the windshield of Kristen Phillips, 28.
Phillips was transported to Lawrence General Hospital following the incident, which occurred near mile marker 3.8, according to emergency radio communications that day.
Emergency radio communications indicated she suffered "serious head lacerations."
