Drones, marijuana and the death penalty are just a few of the topics expected to be discussed in the upcoming legislative session.

Members of the New Hampshire House of Representatives were able to begin submitting proposed bills earlier this month. The deadline is Friday. Members of the Senate will start submitting their bill proposals beginning on Monday.
So far, some familiar issues are already cropping up on the list of Legislative Service Requests (LSRs) for 2014.

According to the Union Leader, a proposed bill has already been submitted by Rep. Donald Wright (R-Moultonborough) to allow patients who qualify for the state's new medical marijuana law to grow their own marijuana. And Rep. Renny Cushing (D-Hampton) has submitted an LSR seeking to repeal the death penalty in New Hampshire.

Meanwhile, the Concord Monitor reports that Rep. Joe Duarte (R-Candia) has submitted an LSR seeking to regulate drone use in the Granite State.
