Foodie Weekend in Windham Begins Today
Here are six things you should know today in Windham.

1. Embrace your inner food lover in Windham! The 1st Annual Windham Foodie Weekend, which runs September 27th-29th, is packed full of tasty treats to keep you busy and full all weekend long. Throughout the three days, multiple businesses are offering special sales and samples to those that mention the “Foodie Weekend” when you visit their locations. 2. Coat Drive. The Windham Woman's Club coat drive is set for Saturday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Windham Town Hall. Those who can't donate coats or sweaters that day can use drop-off locations at Nesmith Library and Shaw's.
3. Getting jobbed. Windham High School is hosting an internship and job fair on on Wednesday, Oct. 9, from 7-9 a.m. Businesses and groups that want to participate should contact the Community Development Department, 432-7362, or email lscott@windhamnewhampshire.com.

4. Weekend weather. With a packed weekend of events on tap in Merrimack, Amherst and other parts of Southern New Hampshire, it seems as though Mother Nature is in the mood to grant good-weather wishes. Check out this fabulous weekend forecast.
- Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 70.
- Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 45.
- Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 75.
- Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 49.

There is still time to register for CBM Cares 11th annual Golf Classic benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Nashua & Greater Salem. It's a day of golf, camaraderie, and - most importantly - supporting a great organization that helps kids in the community.
