Man Charged in Windham Kidnapping Ordered to Testify

A Massachusetts man charged in an alleged home invasion and kidnapping on Glance Road last year has been ordered to testify about his knowledge of the incident, according to a report by the Union Leader.
The paper reported that Luis Carvalho, 33, of Taunton, Mass. will head to trial today in Rockingham Superior Court.
, Carvalho was charged with burglary, criminal restraint, criminal threatening and disobeying a police officer. He now faces a total of six charges, including kidnapping.

Two other men were reportedly involved in the incident, but were never identified, according to the report.
The victim involved was a 20-year-old woman, who was tied up after a struggle with the men, according to police.

The woman was otherwise unharmed in the incident. She reportedly phoned 911 while Carvalho and the other men were banging on the door.
After fleeing from the scene, Carvalho was arrested almost two hours later near Cobblestone Road.
