Man Purchases Pornos in Windham, Caught Masturbating in Salem

Salem Police arrested a North Andover, Mass. man Saturday after catching him in the parking lot of the Mall at Rockingham Park attempting to masturbate.

Dananh Tran, 26, was charged with indecent exposure and lewdness.

At 5:17 p.m. on Saturday, Salem Officer Sambataro observed a vehicle parked behind Sears Auto.

When he approached the vehicle, Tran, who was inside, began to shuffle around in the car acting suspiciously.

Sambataro noticed several pornographic magazines on the passenger seat and a sweatshirt covering Tran's lap.

Sambataro learned from Tran that the magazines were purchased in Windham. Tran said that he needed a quick "stress relief," so he stopped in the parking lot to masturbate.

He was taken into custody without incident and later released on a summons to appear in court.
