WHS Principal Finalist Interviews Next Week

The Windham School District's process of replacing Windham High School Principal Tom Murphy is almost finished, as the School Board will interview potential finalists during a special meeting next week.

The meeting, which will be held mostly in non-public, will see the board members interviewing either one or two finalists for the position.

The special meeting will take place at 5 p.m.

Murphy will leave his position as lead administrator at WHS effective July 1. He has been hired on as principal of Billerica Memorial High School in Massachusetts, which is both his alma mater and former employer.

Prior to his announced departure, Murphy was named N.H. Principal of the Year. He has held his position in Windham since 2010.
