Windham Fire Reports Minor Injuries in Bicycle Accident

A bicycle accident that reportedly took place near Deer Run Road Monday night turned out to just be minor injuries, according to Windham Fire Chief Tom McPherson.

The incident, which was originally reported 1,000 feet up the trial near Abbott Road, was characterized as a "multi-system trauma" injury.

A mountain biker reportedly ran into a tree on the trail.

On Tuesday, McPherson called the incident a minor accident where it was easy for the Windham Fire Department to get at the patient. The accident was reported around 6 p.m. Monday.

The trail is located close to the area of Rock Pond.
