This year’s theme was “Beneath the Surface.” Kuchipudi’s winning video challenged people to think beyond what they might expect – not to “judge a book by its cover” – and to “visit your local library this summer and discover what’s beneath the surface.”
For her effort, Kuchipudi will receive $275, as well as $125 worth of prizes for Nesmith Library.
Judges for the N.H. competition were Tom Dooley, associate professor of Colby-Sawyer College; Maryann Mroczka, executive producer of N.H. Chronicle and Matthew Newton, director of the N.H. Film & Television Office.
A total of 26 states and over 100 teens participated in the creation of the winning videos.
