Windham Woman Recognized by Governor as Top Volunteer
Barbara Coish was in Concord Monday to accept an award.
Windham resident Barbara Coish was recognized at the statehouse Monday as one of the top volunteers in Rockingham County.
Coish was in Concord to receive photo ops with Gov. Maggie Hassan (D-NH) and state Sen. Jim Rausch (R-Derry). She received the 2013 Vaughn Award in the Executive Council Chamber, given for outstanding volunteer service to older citizens.
"(Coish) has successfully managed the Windham congregate lunch program for the past 14 years and also volunteers her time as President of the Windham Seniors Inc. to help oversee the day-to-day functioning of the Windham Senior Center," read a statement from the N.H. State Senate Office.
