WPD has Removed About a Dozen from the Skate Park Since Closure
Three were issued summons last week.

About a dozen people have been removed from the Griffin Park skateboard facility since the park's permanent closure in early April, according to Windham Police.
On May 8, three Derry residents became the first individuals charged since the closure was administered by the Windham Board of Selectmen.
Jonathan Kevlik, 21, Stefen Cosentino, 23 and Dillon Coleman, 20 were each issued summons for criminal trespass.

According to Windham Police Capt. Mike Caron, the gate at the park is locked and it is clearly posted that those who enter the park will be charged. To enter the park, the three would have had to climb the fence.
"The thing about it – we'll take each (situation at the skate park) on a case-by-case basis," said Caron. He said that those who have cooperated with the department have been asked to leave the area with warnings.
