Asbury Park Has Adult Ways To Celebrate Halloween All October Long

ASBURY PARK, NJ — The 2024 Asbury Park Zombie Crawl has come and gone (it was Oct. 5), but there's still a lot of fun planned this October at The Asbury hotel (210 Fifth Ave, Asbury Park, NJ 07712), from heated poolside cocktails, to spooky movie screenings and a Grateful Dead tribute band at Asbury Lanes Oct. 31.

What's planned:

Hot cocktails in the cabana and poolside: Warm up at The Asbury Hotel's heated pool, complete with cozy cabanas and a seasonal hot cocktail menu to keep you toasty all fall long.

"Sunday Scaries" movies at Asbury Lanes: Every Sunday night in October, Asbury Lanes will host a night of fright with classic horror films that are sure to send shivers down your spine. Each screening brings a fun, laid-back environment for horror fans and movie buffs alike. Grab a signature cocktail from the bar, settle into a bowling lane or seat and get ready for a spooky movie marathon. More info here.

• October 20: Little Shop of Horrors at 7 p.m.
• October 27: Hocus Pocus at 7 p.m.
• Oct. 30 (a Wednesday): The Rocky Horror Picture Show at 8 p.m. Get ready for a night of chaos and fun as the cast of Rocky Horror Picture Show takes the stage at Asbury Lanes for an immersive production like no other. This will be a combined movie screening and a live stage performance will happen in front of the screen and through the aisle as the movie plays. There will be props and audience participating.
