North To Shore Will Return To NJ In 2025; Performers Not Yet Announced

Acts for 2025 are not yet announced, but in the past Carlos Santana, Kevin Hart, Halsey​, ​the B-52s and ​Demi Lovato have all performed:

ASBURY PARK, NJ — The North to Shore music festival will return to New Jersey in 2025, for its third year in a row.

This is the music, innovation and "ideas" festival conceived by Gov. Phil Murphy and his wife, First Lady Tammy Murphy. It will again be sponsored in 2025 by Prudential, for the second year in a row.

The 2025 festival will take place from June 9-29 in three cities: Newark, Asbury Park and Atlantic City.

Who will be performing in 2025 has not yet been announced; Gov. Murphy will announce that in a press conference in early 2025, said his office Monday. But in the past two years, North to Shore brought acts such as Carlos Santana, New Jersey pop diva Halsey, the B-52s and Demi Lovato to concerts at NJPAC and the Stone Pony is Asbury Park.

In its first two years, North to Shore brought in more than $25 million for ticketed events and has drawn a total audience of over 500,000 to more than 650 shows in approximately 250 venues in Newark, Asbury Park and Atlantic City. Free events featuring emerging artists from Newark, Asbury Park and Atlantic City will be presented alongside the festival’s headlining acts.

New for 2025 is that the festival will now include season-long community engagement events in Atlantic City. A complete list of free and ticketed festival events will be shared at northtoshore.com in spring 2025.

In the past two years North to Shore has been running, here are some of the acts that have performed; many of them have New Jersey connections:

  • The B-52s (lead singer Frederick William Schneider was born in Newark and grew up in Long Branch; he attended Shore Regional High School)
  • NJ's own Halsey
  • Demi Lovato
  • Hip hop legends Eric B. & Rakim
  • Classic rocker Carlos Santana, with his band Santana
  • New Jersey native Jack Antonoff’s The Bleachers
  • Comedian Kevin Hart
  • Matchbox Twenty
  • Barenaked Ladies
  • Lake Street Dive
  • Multi-platinum award-winning, singer/songwriter Prince Royce
  • Four-time Grammy award winner Gary Clark, Jr.
  • Multiple Latin Grammy award winner Marisa Monte

North to Shore will again collaborate with local advisory groups in Atlantic City, Asbury Park and Newark to provide North to Shore Community Arts Awards of up to $10,000 each. This is meant to help grow the arts in those cities.
