Kwanzaa Tree Lighting, Food Giveaway Planned In Asbury Park
Yet another tree lighting is in store for Asbury Park residents this Saturday, this time at Springwood Park.
ASBURY PARK, NJ - Yet another tree lighting is in store for Asbury Park residents this Saturday, this time at Springwood Park.
On Dec. 11 at 4:30 p.m., the City of Asbury Park will be hosting a Kwanzaa food giveaway and tree lighting in Springwood Park between Springwood and Atkins Avenues.
200 Kwanzaa-appropriate meals will be served, according to city officials. The celebration is in lieu of Asbury Park's traditional Kwanzaa celebration due to COVID-19.
