2 Lottery Players Win Big In A Week In Southern Ocean

SOUTHERN OCEAN COUNTY, NJ — Last week was a good one for Southern Ocean lottery players, as two prizewinning tickets were sold, according to New Jersey Lottery officials.

The first and largest prize was the Jersey Cash 5 ticket sold at Mystic Wine and Spirits in Little Egg Harbor on Feb. 10. That ticket hit the jackpot and won its lucky player $484,967.

The ticket matched the winning numbers of 03, 07, 11, 25, 26. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Then, on Feb. 13, a "Millionaire Maker" scratch-off won its player $50,000. That ticket was sold at the Wawa on North Main Street in Barnegat.

Millionaire Maker is a $25 ticket that offers the chance to win $2 million. Only one of those prizes has been claimed, according to NJ Lottery. It was sold at Buy Rite Liquors in Lodi, and two top prizes remain.

The $50,000 prize is the second-best offered by the scratch-off. Six have been won so far and four remain.
