$6K Of Jewelry Stolen By Cleaner From Manahawkin Home: Police
The Waretown woman is accused of stealing about $6,000 worth of assorted jewelry from a local house while employed as a cleaner.
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — A Waretown woman is accused of stealing about $6,000 worth of assorted jewelry from a Stafford home where she was employed as a residential cleaner, Stafford police said.
Katelynn Stanfield, 33, is charged with third-degree theft by unlawful taking and third-degree fencing-dealing with stolen property.
These charges follow a two-month long jewelry theft investigation by Stafford, Long Beach Township and Ocean Township (Waretown) police, according to a news release. The investigation was completed on Sept. 18, police said.

Stanfield was released with a criminal complaint summons to appear in Ocean County Superior Court.
