AARP/IRS Free Tax Preparation Dates In Southern Ocean County

STAFFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ - It's that time of year again. Time to file your taxes.

AARP and the IRS are trying to make the often-dreaded task a little easier by offering free tax preparation times in a number of southern Ocean County town, including Manahawkin, Barnegat, Lacey and Little Egg Harbor townships.

Here are the times and locations:

Monday and Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Mary's of the Pines Parish Center at 100 Bishop Way in Manahawkin. No appointment is necessary.

Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Heritage Point Club House at 1 Shore Point Boulevard in Barnegat. An appointment is necessary for this location. Please call 609-489-9842 for an appointment.

Tuesday, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Village Lutheran Church at 701 Western Boulevard in Lanoka Harbor. No appointment is necessary.

Wednesday - 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., St. Theresa's Church Faith Formation Center, 450 Radio Road, Little Egg Harbor. No appointment is necessary.

Wednesday - 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Perry's Lake Club House, 4 Princeton Avenue, Manahawkin. Please call for an appointment at 609-978-7554.
