Annual 'Hooked On Fishing' Event Sets Return To Manahawkin
The free, fun-filled evening of fishing at Manahawkin Lake falls on Aug. 28 this year.
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Join Stafford police for the popular "Hooked on Fishing - Not Drugs" event, set for Aug. 28 at 5:30 p.m.
This free, fun-filled event at Manahawkin Lake is open to all children 15-and-younger, with prizes awarded to different age groups.
Children 12-and-under must be accompanied by an adult.

Participants must bring their own equipment and all fishing must take place from the shore. Due to insurance rules, no boats are allowed.
Those interested must fill out this form by Aug. 25.
