'Ayla Has A Heart Of Gold': Manahawkin Star Student
Ayla is a peacemaker and is very kind, her mother said. Here's what makes her a Star Student:
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

Ayla has a heart of gold. While she excels in school and works hard to learn new concepts, she is a star student because she is a peacemaker. She wants everyone to be kind and work with one another. She inspires me everyday to be kinder and think of others before myself.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?
She is someone worth getting to know and will always take the time to get to know someone else as well.
