Bad Weather May Affect Barnegat Trash And Recycling Pickup
Residents are asked to take containers off the street if trash is not picked up by the next day
BARNEGAT TOWNSHIP, NJ - If you live in the lower bay areas of Barnegat,the rain and flooding could affect your trash and recycling pickups for the remainder of the week, according to an alert from the township Facebook page.
The contractor will make every possible attempt to collect items. But if your trash or recycling are not picked up by the morning after your regular collection day, the township asks that they be removed from the street and put in secure containers until your next scheduled collection day.
