Barnegat Cops Catch 2 Masked Juveniles With Stolen Items
Juveniles were found hiding in the woods with items from burglarized vehicles, police chief says

BARNEGAT, NJ - Barnegat police recently arrested two masked juveniles hiding in the woods near Spar Court with items stolen out of unlocked vehicles, Chief Keith Germain said.
The juveniles, ages 13 and 16, had the stolen items, a pellet gun and marijuana with them. Police had responded to reports of seven burglaries from the night of Feb. 9, according to the police department's Facebook page.
"We might have mentioned this before, but less than one percent of all vehicle burglaries in Barnegat involve vehicles with locked doors," he said. "Don't make it easy for them."
