Barnegat High School Wins At Special Olympics USA Games
Barnegat won big for Team NJ at the Special Olympics in Florida last week.
BARNEGAT, NJ — The 2022 Special Olympics USA Games were held last week, and Barnegat residents were among the winners, the Barnegat Township School District announced.
Barnegat High School student Jacob Coupe won the silver medal in golf for Team NJ.
Sue Rogers, Barnegat High School tennis and golf coach, coached Team NJ in tennis for the Special Olympics. Her team took home four gold medals, three silver medals and one bronze medal.

The 2022 Special Olympics were held from June 5 through June 12 in Orlando, Florida.
