Barnegat Police Chief Graduates From FBI Academy

Barnegat Police Chief Jason Carroll is a recent grad of the prestigious 11-week FBI National Academy.

BARNEGAT, NJ — Barnegat Police Chief Jason Carroll has joined the prestigious ranks of those who have graduated from the FBI National Academy.

Carroll graduated from the 296th session of 11-week elite program in Quantico, VA on Dec. 11, the Barnegat Police Department shared on social media.

"During his time in Quantico, Chief Carroll had the opportunity to work alongside law enforcement leaders from across the United States and around the world; sharing ideas, best practices, and policing strategies that can be brought back and implemented here at the Barnegat Township Police Department," the department said.

The FBI National Academy's aim is to improve law enforcement standards, strengthen agencies and enhance cooperation among police departments worldwide.

"Chief Carroll will return with new ideas and a refreshed outlook on modern policing," the department said. "He expressed deep gratitude to the community and the Township Committee for their support throughout the nomination and training process."
