Barnegat Woman Stabbed In Little Egg Harbor Township: Police

LITTLE EGG HARBOR — A Barnegat woman was stabbed Sunday in Little Egg Harbor Township, police said. The 31-year-old female is in stable condition.

Little Egg Harbor Township Police responded to a home on Winged Foot Lane at 7:45 p.m. for an active fight. Officers found the woman had been stabbed and the accused party had left the area.

The woman was transported to the Community Center where she was air-lifted to the Atlantic City Medical Center. At this time she is in stable condition, according to Little Egg Harbor Township Police.

The stabbing remains under investigation.
