Beach Haven West Man Flees From Stafford Police Not Once, But Twice
Gregory Goumas, 18, was charged with eluding and hindering apprehension after he sped away on motorcycle on the Causeway.

STAFFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ - A township man is facing eluding and hindering apprehension charges after he sped away on his motorcycle when Stafford police tried to stop him for speeding on the Route 72 Causeway bridge.
Stafford police attempted the motor vehicle stop at 2 a.m. on Aug. 22. Gregory Goumas, 18, Joan Drive, was traveling at a high rate of speed on his blue Yamaha when Patrolman Christopher Smith tried to stop him on the bridge, Lt. James R. Vaughn said.
Goumas then accelerated and Smith terminated the stop because of the high rate of speed.
