CityMD Closes Manahawkin Clinic Amid Staff Shortages
CityMD is temporarily closing its Manahawkin clinic due to staffing issues, but another nearby site will remain open.

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — As the demand for COVID-19 testing continued to increase this week, CityMD announced the temporary closure of its Manahawkin location on Wednesday.
The move was made to preserve the medical group's ability to staff its sites, according to its website.
"It is our hope that closing sites now will best allow us to avoid future closures as this surge continues," the statement read.

CityMD advises people seeking care in the Manahawkin area to visit its Lanoka Harbor site operating at 539 Route 9.
Officials noted that most CityMD locations are working "at full capacity," and workers are doing their best "to meet the urgent care needs of the people of New York and New Jersey."

"Continuing to provide these services to the community is a top priority; however, our physicians and teammates are also a priority," the statement said.
Other locations that are closed in New Jersey as of Thursday afternoon include Raritan, Wayne, Oakland and Jersey City’s Grove Street site.
