Coast Guard Airlifts Stroke Victim From Cruise Ship
The woman, 66, and a ship nurse were taken to Atlantic City.

ATLANTIC CITY - A U.S. Coast Guard air crew on a MH-65 Dolphin rescue helicopter successfully airlifted a 66-year-old woman from the cruise ship Carnival Horizon at approximately 1 a.m. on Monday.
A crew member on the cruise ship contacted the Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay command center for help after the woman apparently suffered a stroke and needed medical assistance, according to a Coast Guard release.
An aircrew from Air Station Atlantic City, New Jersey, was launched to assist. They hoisted the woman and a nurse from the cruise ship, then transported them to Air Station Atlantic City, where an ambulance was waiting.
