Cops: Little Egg Harbor Woman Spit On Officer, Resisted Arrest

Nicole Johnson, 36, also kicked windows of police cruiser during the arrest, report states

LITTLE EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ - A township woman has been charged with spitting on a police officer and resisting arrest after police responded to a property dispute recently on Westchester Drive.

Little Egg Harbor police responded to the address at 1:35 p.m. on Feb. 7. While they investigated the dispute, Nichole Johnson, 36, became belligerent and started screaming at officers, according to a report on the police department's Facebook page.

Police soon discovered that Johnson had an outstanding warrant from Ocean County Superior Court. When they tried to handcuff her, she begin to resist, making it difficult for officers to get her to the patrol car.

Once she was inside the cruiser, she began kicking the windows and spit on an officer. She was charged with aggravated assault for throwing bodily fluids at a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest. She was taken to the Ocean County Jail in default of bail, the report states.

Officer Steven Mancine was the arresting officer. He was assisted by Sgt. Kristen Story and Officer Sean Hancharuk.
