Families Lose 'Everything' In Jersey Shore House Fire: How To Help
Donations are being collected for families displaced by a fire this week in Beach Haven:
BEACH HAVEN, NJ — A fire above a local LBI business displaced multiple families this week, and the community is joining together to help those affected.
The fire occurred above Green Heads Salad Co. on Monday, according to the Beach Haven Volunteer Fire Company. While the fire was extinguished, the families living in the apartments there lost "everything," according to fundraisers.
"We are beyond thankful for everyone’s support and especially the Beach Haven firefighters, Beach Haven police department, and all the other surrounding fire companies who did an amazing job containing and putting out the fire," Green Heads Salad Co. said in an Instagram post.

Those who want to donate to help those families can bring donations to Dock & Claw Clam Bar in Beach Haven.
Donations can also be brought to the Chicken or the Egg, as one of the families displaced by the fire is "the back bone of The Chicken or the Egg," according to one GoFundMe. The family lost "absolutely everything."

"The money raised will be used to help the family regain all the supplies one needs on a daily basis including clothing, shoes, toiletries, food, etc.," the fundraiser reads. "If you would like to make any other type of donation you can drop the items off directly to Chegg in Beach Haven."
A separate GoFundMe was launched for the Sanchez family, also impacted by the blaze.
"Most of their personal belongings, clothes, bedding, and furniture have been lost," the fundraiser reads.
As a member of the Sanchez family works for Jersey Girl, donations of canned goods, pasta, paper towels, sheets, toiletries and money can be brought to the Jersey Girl Kitchen and Market location.
Another person impacted is part of the Country Kettle Chowda family. The restaurant is collecting donations of basic clothing essentials like socks, underwear and durable basics for men ages 30 to 50 and women size small clothing. These donations can be brought to the eatery daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
