Free CPR Training at Barnegat Rec Center For Kids

Children will have a chance to get CPR training for free at the Barnegat Recreation Center on November 5.

BARNEGAT TOWNSHIP, NJ - CPR is an important skill to learn, even at a young age. With that in mind, Hackensack Meridian Health is hosting a free CPR training for 5th and 6th grade students at the Barnegat Recreation Center on November 5, according to the Barnegat Recreation Center.

The training will go over CPR techniques and allow children to feel confident in their skills if a situation arises where they may need to act.

The training will go on at 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Barnegat Recreation Center behind the police station, but space is limited. Only 40 students will be able to take the training and Barnegat residency is not a requirement for the program.
