Hunger Foundation Donates To Barnegat And Manahawkin Pantries
The Hunger Foundation of Southern Ocean County awarded $130,000 to food pantries from Lacey to Little Egg Harbor.

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Food pantries have faced an array of challenges throughout the coronavirus pandemic, from having enough donations to ensuring that the food they give out is safe.
To help local food pantries secure the resources they need, the Hunger Foundation of Southern Ocean County awarded $130,000 to pantries from Lacey to Little Egg Harbor.
Despite the pandemic, the Foundation's annual fall donation equaled the amount raised last year, according to their Facebook post published Thursday.
