UPDATE: Jetty The Bird Is Still Missing In Barnegat, $350 Reward Offered
Jetty's owner thought she had found him in a senior community in Barnegat, but unfortunately it was another bird.

Have you seen Jetty the Bird?
Jetty, a cockatiel, flew away from his home in Settlers Landing, off Windward Drive on Sept. 7 and his heartbroken family wants him back.
Jetty is pale yellow, with a gray pearl pattern on his back, yellow head feathers and pale orange patches on his cheeks. He has an orange identification band on his right foot. Jetty is only six months old.

He's very friendly and social and could even land on someone's head, his owner Jennifer Jems said in a Facebook post.
He's not afraid of dogs or people. There is a $350 reward if Jetty is returned.

Sims sped to a sighting of a bird that looked remarkably like Jetty in a tree at Greenbriar Sunday morning. Unfortunately, the bird was not Jetty. But Jems took him home to take care of him until she can find his owner.
